I felt like they are so happy just to be in our house and they worry to not make me do something more for them

I want to present myself and to share my first experience with my guests, 2 nice people from Sudan. My big challenge was to face the fear as a single mom with a child to host 2 men that I’ve never seen in my life and more because I didn’t knew nothing about their’s health, well a nurse’s way of thinking…
I have a backgroud strong enough to dare to help people in difficult situation thanks to my experience in medical field and thanks to my experience to work in department of social work and children’s rights from my country, where I worked with kids, teenagers and young people (7 years in an institution with abandoned children).

Well they arrived with a driver and the younger one (Y. 22 years) surprised me with his large smile like he doesn’t have any problem in life and the other (A. 37 years) more quiet but with a funny face that can melt your heart too.

My son had no problem to accept them in our house, so I continued to make a cake for our guest while listening theirs stories and share mine too… we went to sleep by 2 am. They didn’t ask for nothing, it was me that tried to find and detect theirs needs. The breakfast was simple and they were happy with a cup of tee, my cake and gouda cheese, bread and butter. Lunch was simple, pasta with tomatoes sauce and cheese… I felt like they are so happy just to be in our house and they worry to not make me do something more for them.

The big joy for the young Y was to put him in touch with his uncle by my phone on Whatsapp because the police take his phone in a train in LiΓ¨ge because he didn’t have a ticket so since then he couldn’t be in touch with his uncle, the one that cared about him and helped him to leave Soudan. He thanked me more than 10 times (lol) for this little joy, so now his uncle knows he is safe… What a wicked life… He crossed the desert and arrived in Italy with a clandestine boat, then spent 2 years in Germany without documents and black work in the fuel station… And now here in Belgium for one month… Hoping to find a way for his life… I wished to help more, I realised that finally it’s easy to start to help them but it’s very hard to let them go… I just pray for them for the best…. Can’t sleep since friday, they touched me in a big way and most important they REMIND ME to do what I know best in this life…

SEE YOU SOON and HOPE for a better NEW 2018!
GOD bless you ALL , great people from THIS PLATFORM!
THANKS for this opportunity to host wonderful humain beings! πŸ™πŸ™πŸŒπŸŽ†
